I know, this is pretty basic, "water is wet" kinda stuff. But I think that it's the first step to putting fans in stands outdoors, too.

(Hoping this stays strictly sports, but if not, it's OK, we'll just move it along.)

Yep, I agree, open air and UV light work wonders.

If you can find the banned You Tube video "Doctors In Black" It is 25 minutes long and I assure you it will send chills up your spine. I believe it 100%

With this, I'll move the thread.

That video may be a conspiracy fallacy, but even if partially true it should send chills up anyone’s spine.

I think this makes a lot of sense, but the challenge is going to be how to effectively social distance. A lot of outdoor public places have indoor public needs, such as restrooms, concessions, shops, and such. The other side of that, what does safer really mean? Mardi Gras is mostly outdoors and we saw what happened to New Orleans.

Honestly, though, we have already decided to open back up before it was advised in practically every state, so besides the fact that it is a highly contagious disease, unlike anything we have seen our lifetime, it doesn't really matter anymore. Excessive sickness and death is just going to be a new way of life for the foreseeable future.

Exactly. That lady and that filmmaker are both absolute quacks. Its sad that people make that kind of stuff during tragedies (he is famous for it).
I think my favorite part of it is when he starts listing "conspiracy theories" that have proved to be true. And he lists smoking. "For years we were told it was good for you, now we know it will kill you."

Ooooooook.

Well it only took us 3 or so months to learn what we already learned in 1918 before we had penicillin.

This has been my philosophy from day 1 based not on the "science" from Dr Fauci et al. I went by the "science" I learned which is air turnover is THE NUMBER ONE factor. I have helped design shelters where that is the goal to control upper respiratory infection in cats... and pretty much every vet knows this.

As an aside..sort of...anybody seen this? I got it from TWO separate sources today

The virus wasn't released as part of a vast conspiracy IMO (though I also doubted at first it came from a lab and now that looks very plausible), but I have ZERO doubt many want to take advantage of it to take away our rights and move this nation to a complete break with the principles of its founding. Calls for general strikes, eliminating rent, universal income, etc.

Why those people cannot just move to some socialist, liberty ignoring nation just escapes me. Maybe if we took up a collection for moving expenses.

I am with you on that. I always felt it was an escaped virus, not a manipulated one (perhaps they had not weaponized it yet). Too much of a coincidence that its origins were a few miles from a virology lab
