Discusses Lee Smith's "The Plot Against the President" with the author.

Regardless of one's support or lack of support for the President, I think the book will be worth the read.

Way too many people, many in positions of power, have lost their minds over Trump, and it has cost them their perspective.

FBI agents texting to each other that they'll "Stop Trump" is beyond dangerous, regardless what you think of him.

Trump is undermining democracy, but not in the way so many think. It's the reaction to him that is doing it, as people rush to justifying the means with the ends, claiming him to be such a danger that procedures, rules, laws and the Constitution all must be set aside.

We're seeing the same thing in the erosion of free speech, where even the ACLU is now knuckling under to notions of "hate speech" and "triggering".

And yes, I do think there is a concerted effort in Washington to get rid of Trump. And since he's an ass and a blowhard I get the lack of appeal, but this is about Washington thinking it has all the answers and is really in charge, not The People.
