Getting this ready early for opening night.

1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory (+) OR loss (-). If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

3. OVER/UNDER 46.0%. Predict whether Player of the Year candidate Cassius Winston will go OVER his FG shooting percentage from last year of 46% in this game, or UNDER 46%, and by how many. Note--for purposes of grading, we will treat an answer like "4% above" as meaning he'll hit 50%, not a calculated percentage (hey, math is hard. Make it easy on me.)

4. Bright lights, new city, life in the fast lane. Let's take the grad transfer, Nate Sestina, and see how the bright lights affect him, while running a pretty strong risk here--Nate's Points X Nate's Assists X Nate's Rebounds. Remember, if one of those is 0....

TB: Largest lead of the first half, either team (regardless of team).

Good luck.

I hope Sestina drops about four dimes...if he does, that PAR multiplier number could be large...

Lot of close calls, but somebody (cough cough) got the margin perfect for a change. First point goes to me.

This man was the only one who figured the fantastic freshman would be the leading scorer. Tyrese Maxey spun a beauty, and his 26 points led all--the correct pick here is worth the 2nd KSR point.

Great pick here--Winston hit 5-12, for 41.67%, or 4.33% under what he did last year. Pretty much on the money with this pick for the 3rd KSR point.

Some very, very good picks here, but this one was best. Nate dropped 7 points, with 6 boards and 2 assists for a total of 7x6x2 = 84. The 80 picked was the best, and good for the 4th point.

Gotta go to the tiebreaker to break a 4-way tie....

Cats led 34-23 with 23 seconds to go in the first half, for an 11-point margin--biggest of the first half.

One of us went under that number by a single digit--me (10), and one of us went over that number by a single digit--UKFlounder (12), so we have a dual victory in the opening contest. Congrats to the fine gentleman, and me, whatever I am.

Cool

Nice to be on the board already
