I was going to tell you if I had a 2nd consecutive losing week just to ignore my picks, as they were the outliers from the group! lol

Funny thing is on the ULM game...I knew last year that Texas State melted down at the end of the game, and felt like ULM was a little better, and a little better coached and disciplined, and the same thing might happen this year. But I fought that feeling because I thought maybe I was too close to the situation to view it objectively.

At the end of the game last night, Texas State melted down again. Coaches blew their timeouts, they failed to make big stops, and committed huge mistakes (like jumping offsides on 4th and 1 when ULM was going for it on their final TD drive.)

You'd think that following a little known (and little followed) team would give somebody an advantage, but it rarely does for me.

I really should heed Catfan73's rules and just pick 1 or 2 picks each week. I'm not sure that it would change things, but I felt good about one each week, and won both of those. Of course, as soon as I do, I'll have three picked out, pick my "best" one, and it will lose and the other two win.

The results...we went 14-14-2 (with 2 pushes) collectively and once again if you had a team fail to cover, it most likely was upset. Among our picks only Notre Dame won without covering and the SDSU game was a push as they won by the -4 spread. The rest all either covered or outright lost. Pretty cool and I’m trying to figure out a way to use it in the SUP game lol but haven’t quite figured it out yet.
