The NRA issued a statement (http://www.nraila.org/news-issues/news-from-nra-ila/2013/statement-from-the-nra-regarding-today%27s-white-house-task-force-meeting.aspx?s=&st=&ps=) about today's White House Task Force meeting on gun-control.

From the statement:

We were disappointed with how little this meeting had to do with keeping our children safe and how much it had to do with an agenda to attack the Second Amendment. While claiming that no policy proposals would be “prejudged,” this Task Force spent most of its time on proposed restrictions on lawful firearms owners - honest, taxpaying, hardworking Americans. It is unfortunate that this Administration continues to insist on pushing failed solutions to our nation's most pressing problems.

They were being kind and politically correct.

no doubt. he was a moron long before guns got on the radar. some of these guys sound dumb but have agendas. Biden is just a complete idiot. also a cheat and plagiarist. forget ideology and such, he's just stupid.

I wish they'd show clips of his lack of basic comprehension in Senate hearings. it was stunning even by Senate standards, and sadly there are some pretty dense folks on those committees.

No, they didn't call him a doo-doo head but they should have. Biggest idiot in Washington is our vice president (and being the biggest idiot is saying a lot because he is in a city packed with idiots)

The whole task force thing is a farce, they went in with a preconceived goal and the intent is to finish with the recommendations they predetermined from the beginning of the farce.

Yep. It's like when you pay a consultant to come in and tell everyone what management was going to do anyway is the right choice so you can cite an "independent" expert. now they can cite "the report" as if it were fact.
