I'm not saying it is "the" solution, or even "a" solution, although it looks like a good idea, and promising to me. Just a better "effort" toward addressing a problem.

Don't want schoolkids shot? Keep bad guys with guns out of the building. What a novel concept.

Check out the animation if you get a chance; it is really cool-looking. I wish they had a youtube of it; I have become very spoiled to seeing the videos directly on threads here, rather than having to click a link to get to them :).

I'm not applauding this particular idea as a solution, I'm applauding someone trying to come up with real solutions and doing so by getting outside the governmental box.

Not "what can the government do to protect us" but "what can we do to stop this."

That solution only makes sense if your goal is to save lives; the goal isn't to save lives the goal is to keep people from legally owning firearms.
