Tomorrow morning I set off for Minot, North Dakota to begin my new life as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I’m excited; petrified; nervous; and thrilled all at the same time. It’s a whole new ballgame going from the bedside as a RN for 20 years and starting over as a brand new NP at 47 years old. My hope and prayer is I’m up to the challenge. Thank you to all of you who have followed my journey. I’ll let you know how it goes. But no matter what this girl is going to be cheering on our Wildcats loud and proud! BBN is coming to North Dakota!!

This is what I was afraid would happen. Seduced by the sexy glamour of the big city. :)

Stay warm! Sounds like a good lace and a good job. You should be very positive about all of it.

Best wishes for your new life experience. Stay warm, stay dry, and enjoy the infrequent good weather when it happens.
And, just as most of us here feel, we know you got this!

Good Luck, Nikki! Lots of nice people in Minot.

I don't think there are "lots" of people in Minot total. ;)

Just kidding. My home town didn't break 1,000 people unless you counted family pets.
