No idea why this was happening, but in the last week or so after I made/received/missed a telephone call I would receive something that looked like the attached.

It showed the telephone number, time of call, Etc. on the top part of the screen, and an advertisement on the bottom part. This happened, regardless of whether or not I placed the call, received the call, or the call went unanswered.

I had not downloaded any new apps or done anything special with the phone. I was perplexed. In any event, I ran across someone who was having a similar problem with a new phone, and this is their recommendation. I tried it, and it worked perfectly for me.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180926/84d1a6f313e73aa1c4bd285eab7ddf9c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180926/dbe2c8a85aa527ffe287313a82ebc67f.jpg

Interesting. I wonder if it's somehow tied to the updated Google Assistant. It just flashed up at me on a call thing, and I backed out of it. Haven't gotten ads or other popups from it yet, but I wonder if it's not that app. May be worth googling to see.
