I hope so. That would make for wonderful theater. Esp. the fight within the DNC, b/c I'm sure they still have a lot of power.

The democrats would be flipping insane to allow her to be the nominee again...

no doubt, but she only got the nomination the last time b/c the Clintons have so much control over the party apparatus, and it looks like they still have a lot of influence.

There's no doubt Trump has a massive ego, but I don't think it would be quite as big as Hillary's. Close race, but Hillary really IMO believes all these excuses about losing, and the Clinton's biggest strength is probably their sense of manifest destiny.

So I could see it. Now, would the other power brokers in the DNC have the guts to sit down with her and say "no damned way"?

Thus the theater. :)

True that.

If nothing else she needs to do this b/c they can still be huge power brokers for the nomination b/c of their financial ties. If they can maintain them or even just convince people they are relevant the money will flow in for them. not like it did, but a lot, and they never leave money on the table.

It's about money and power, and the Clintons won't give up either willingly.

And it's about money and power for all politicians, but few if any in the modern era have been better at it than the Clintons. They're Tammany Hall level.
