Goodman is wrong in that Meeks was a Tubby recruit, not a BCG guy:

Was not aware that Zollo left WKU.

BCG would have made all of them better players :671:

BCG would have had all of them going to therapy!

Wow on Dominique Ferguson. Wasn't he a top-five rated recruit when he committed to us? I recall being very excited aboout him. It looks like the bottom fell out for him. Sad.

They would have been tougher at least. Maybe wouldn't have transferred.:confused0053:

Hunter McClintock never committed to Kentucky either, did he? I know there was some talk of Gillispie recruiting him, and some UK fans were pining for his talents based on Youtube videos, but I never remember him being a UK commit.

He might've been. Certain periods of the CBG era are sort of a blur.

Here's Matt Jones' blog talking about McClintock, and many UK fans really wanting him.

This team would beat that bunch by 50. Clyde almost wrecked the program forever.

Absolutely wrong about McClintock. Never committed to UK, not sure he was ever recruited. Huge discussion of him b/c of that highlight tape, but wasn't a recruit.

So he was right 78% of it if you look at is as 2 wrong out of 9 named. Worse if you look at is as 7 as the denominator. Pretty good for Goodman's average.

Billy Clyde Era…it was a bad dream…now go back to sleep and when you wake up in the morning, everything will be fine.

Love me some BCG. Without his two years here WE WOULD NEVER HAVE GOTTEN MB and Todd to take CAL.

Listen I didn't like BCG either but that story is typical goodman..

First hunter never committed

He also recruited Darius, Harrellson, Patterson, Liggins, and Orton..all who Helped uk reach elite 8's final fours and hanging an 8th banner

Since he mentioned hunter, it is no secret that will Barton was coming to UK along With his brother..

Now again I only bring this argument up because a national writer like goodman should at Least get the facts right..but he doesn't like BCG, cal or UK so there you go

Looks like Goodman cherry picked his choices of recruits to highlight. No doubt Clyde had some awful recruits. Not all were duds; but too many he had slated to come to Kentucky were.

He could have signed Lebron James and it wouldn't have made up for most of that list.

Goodman can relate to duds.
