I am all for prosecuting sexual predators of all types, but I hate to see this after so many years. I'm not saying it was wrong--it wasn't, based on what I've read--but I'm just saddened at it all.

It is sad. Sad that a man who had such a positive image for so many was apparently the opposite of that person. Sad for all the people who were victimized. sad that such things go on in the world. The whole thing is sad from start to finish.

I loved his comedy, it was beyond funny. Beyond the sadness of the situation I don't see how all of that is not forever tainted and basically ruined. The lives of those victimized were obviously damaged, but this has really managed to, in a small way, damage millions of people, likely tens of millions of people who drew some happiness from his work.

Like I said, there's not one single aspect of this anywhere that isn't sad and tragic.
