They tested their new heavy payload "Falcon Heavy" rocket today. Most powerful rocket since the Saturn V that got us to the moon and they even recover most of it.
It went off well apparently, but the best part is the test payload was his own Tesla Roadster with a dummy named "Starman" for the David Bowie song and playing the Bowie Song "Space oddity" that will get into Mars orbit (I think, sounded like it).
it also looked a LOT like the opening of HEavy Metal too b/c you have a guy in a white space suit at the wheel of a convertible out on a rocket. Not a Vette like the movie but very similar.
The guy has style.
