Play KSR Game Contest: Kentucky v Mounmouth

Here we go....

1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory (+) OR loss (-). If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

3. OVER/UNDER: 20, as in Kentucky will have 20 assists in the game. Predict whether Kentucky will have OVER 20, or UNDER 20, and by how many.

4. Parboiled Green(s): We're going to take a look at Quade Green in this game and examine his PAR -- Points, Assists, and Rebounds. Multiply them together and give us a PAR-Boiled Green number. Just need a number; closest to the actual number wins the point.

Tiebreaker: Monmouth's total FG percentage + Harvard's 2017-18 incoming class acceptance percentage (5.2%). Yeah, I know it's dumb, but I screwed this one up.

YIKES. TIEBREAKER IS MONMOUTH FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE PLUS 5.2%. I would have changed it to their acceptance rate plus field goal percentage, but their acceptance rate is 78%, so it wouldn't make sense.

Also, the two picks already in seem in the ballpark to me, so that's what we are doing. If you want to change your tiebreaker, feel free to do so before the game starts.

Which is great because it prevents the "price is right" bidding. The number range is huge so a wait to be the last entrant and going plus one isn't an effective strategy for that pick.

Makes good sense... for me I try to never look at others guesses so as not to influence my guesses. Perhaps I need to start watching the Price is Right, is it still on?

Wow, what a pick! Kingcat ALSO nailed the assists perfectly -- the OVER/UNDER was set at 20, which is exactly what UK had, and he picked the push. Nicely done!

Quade Green only played 16 minutes due to injury, but his PAR-Boiled number is 9 points x 5 assists x 3 rebounds = 135. This pick of 132 was VERY close, and good enough for the point.
