TYPHOON! It was supposedly only a Category One, but it was kind of impressive.
Everybody here is fine, no injuries or damage to my brother-in-law's house. We did lose power for about 4 hours or so, but the power just came back on.
As I said, it was only just a Category One, but it reminded me of a Category Two hurricane in Florida. Not quite as much wind, but lots & lots of rain! And it is still raining ☔, just not like it was a couple of hours ago.
So thankful for a solid roof over our heads, for there are many people here that are living in cardboard boxes, grass huts, or have even less to protect them from storms like this.

If you ever need a place to stay a few nights in Radcliff, you are welcome here. Just let me know in advance so I can secure things around here and prepare for the bad weather. ;)

My B-i-L just informed me that it was a Cat 2 storm. Still, it was a nasty storm.

Thanks, guys!
Learned that the typhoon's name was 'Salome'. Well, she certainly displayed the fury of a woman scorned, if anyone recalls that woman's name from the Old Testament.
Geez, that was kind of corny, wasn't it? 😂

Happy to hear you survived the fall rainstorm unscathed.
