Question about Mark Stoops contract

After winning 2 SEC games in his 2nd year and beyond...Stoops will receive a $100K bonus...is Barnhart TRYING to say UK will continue to suck or is this a fair assessment? That bar is WAAAAY too low...4 games I can understand but 2????

We got four SEC wins from Joker's three years of coaching so 100K per win above that average is cheap. Hope he cashes a bunch of bonus checks.

I think the message is clear: "You job is to win SEC games. Many and soon. Point blank period."

He's not being paid to screw around, beat up on some patsies, even UL... no, it's very clear he is being asked to do nothing less than compete in the SEC. And I'm glad for it. We play in the greatest football conference this side of the NFC. Anything else, including UofL, is just an appetizer and should not spoil our hunger for the main course.
