Saturday is a new day. Since many of us access the board on weekdays, wanted to go ahead and get this one started. Plus I'm anxious to start with a clean slate.

1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory. If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

3. "Bounceback" player. UK had several players underperform against Notre Dame relative to their season averages (notably, Archie Goodwin and Alex Poythress, but not all). Predict the UK player who will "overperform" against Baylor relative to his season average the most, and by how many.

For reference, here are their averages. Let's limit it to these 8 players. Select one player, and by how many points he will exceed his average.

Archie Goodwin, 16.33
Alex Poythress, 15.83
Nerlens Noel, 12
Kyle Wiltjer, 11.5
Julius Mays, 10.17
Willie Cauley-Stein, 7.67
Jarrod Polson, 4.33
Ryan Harrow, 1.00

TB: Largest deficit Kentucky will face in the game

Good luck!

Good luck!

My picks:

1. UK +9. Gotta have this one.

2. Alex Poythress, 30. He will go crazy in the unstructured, undisciplined defense of Baylor format.

3. Poythress, (he will score 30, so +14.17)

TB: None. Cats will start out hot and win going away.

Man, I hope I'm right.

Here we go and get this graded, too.

(-9). There will be no KSR point awarded here, as nobody selected the correct winner, which has always been a condition of this point.

2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

Archie Goodwin, Pierre Jackson 17

Archie Goodwin, 16.33 (17)
Alex Poythress, 15.83 (13)
Nerlens Noel, 12 (8)
Kyle Wiltjer, 11.5 (3)
Julius Mays, 10.17 (6)
Willie Cauley-Stein, 7.67 (6)
Jarrod Polson, 4.33 (0)
Ryan Harrow, 1.00 (2)

Hard to believe that a guy scoring 2 points would "most" exceed his average, but that's what we have, barely nipping Goodwin.
TB: Largest deficit Kentucky will face in the game

10 (15:41 mark--not needed, just FYI)

Good luck!
