Semifinals...love tournament play.

1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory (+) OR loss (-). If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

3. Who's Tougher, a Norse Viking or a Wildcat -- Over/Under, Norseman by 2 - Will Northern Kentucky's Norseman, Drew McDonald (averages 16.4 pts, 7.7 rebounds, 0.6 blks) or Kentucky's Wildcat, Bam Adebayo (13.3 pts, 7.8 rebs, 1.6 blks), be tougher in terms of scoring more points + grabbing more rebounds + blocking more shots than the other? McDonald averages 2 more total pts/rebs/blks than Adebayo, so pick whether he will have OVER 2 more than Bam, or UNDER 2 more than Bam, and by how many.

4. Super Sub Scrub Scramble. Pick whether a bench WILDCAT or a bench NORSEMAN will have the biggest "Scramble" - (POINTS + ASSISTS + REBOUNDS) x minutes he played, and give his Scramble number. No name, but must get the team correctly and be closest on Scramble points. EXAMPLE: NKy bench player comes off the bench, plays 30 minutes, scores 20 points, 2 assists, 8 rebounds, his Scramble number is (20 + 2 + 8) x 30 = 900.

Tiebreaker: biggest first half deficit, either team.

Good luck!

Thanks for the explanation. I had to fix my own.

Also, need your tiebreaker.

Cats win by 9, and this was closest. We all overshot (much like UK's 3-pointers).

Two Norsemen scored more than any Wildcat (Holland, 22 and Williams, 21), and nobody picked anyone other than a Cat, so no point awarded here.

McDonald: 14 pts + 5 rebs + 3 assists = 22
Adebayo: 15, 18, 1 = 34

McDonald was "favored" by 2, and lost by 12, so the correct answer was UNDER, by 12

UNDER, by 10 was close, and the winner here.

I thought the correct answer here was going to be Wildcat--NKU only had 3 points off the bench, and I knew Hawkins had 7 points and played a bunch.

But when I calculated it, Hawkins had 7 pts, 2 rebounds, 0 assists x 20 minutes = 180 SCRAMBLE.
Faulkner for NKU had 3 pts, 4 rebs, 2 assists x 21 minutes = 189

So the Norse, it is, and Doc comes through with the right team here, and the point.

The three-way tie goes to the tiebreaker, largest first-half deficit (or lead, didn't matter how you viewed it).

Kentucky led NKU 36-21 with 3:18 to play on a Wenyen Gabriel FT--his only point of the game--for a 15-point lead that eventually settled to 14 at halftime.

Doc continues his BLAZING hot postseason play, as he picked 14, just that Gabriel FT off from a perfect pick, and the closest tiebreaker.

Well-done, Doc. Head to the track, buy a lottery ticket, and keep picking the Cats!
