The hexagonal atmospheric feature has baffled me. Very unique, and for the life of me, I can not figure out what causes that shape to appear.

You ain't the only one, dan. Just gives the astronomers another mystery to work on. I don't think even THEY know why it's like that, but I am sure there are a few vague theories.

I speculate that it is a long dormant 300,000 petawatt laser of alien design.

That is pretty weird.

One might consider that the storm at the center of the hexagon is reaching out in hopes of connecting to others of his kind. Alas he finds himself alone.
But if there were others, then nature teaches they would likely both intersect and interact in exactly that way.
In a sense the storm is like a giant, lonely honeybee, doing its part, but yet in vain.
Just another conundrum for the Happy Hippie to ponder.
