After market tint removal?

Daughter has a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee that she bought with after market tinting on the side windows. Can this be removed? Anybody done this before?

Yup. Internet is full of how to tips. Most of them are about factory installed tint. After market tint film is much easier to remove using a hair dryer to warm up the film and a razor blade to pry back a corner to get started pulling on

I had mine adjusted to be somewhat less tinted, what I got originally is too dark for Kentucky law. I'm going to put the darker back on and risk it.
