Play the KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky vs. Michigan State

1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory (+) OR loss (-). If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

3. Over/Under, Dynamic Duo: "5½": Predict whether Kentucky's dynamic duo of Briscoe/Fox (averaging combined 35.5 points) will outscore Michigan State's top two scorers Bridges/McQuaid (averaging combined 30 points) by MORE than 5½, or LESS than 5½, and by how many.

4. Streak Stress Reliever: Name the Kentucky player who will continue Kentucky's streak of consecutive games with a made 3-pointer (i.e., the FIRST UK player to hit a "3").

Tiebreaker: Michigan State halftime score total

Good luck.

I barely beat the buzzer!

Nobody saw the blowout by 21--but Pappy did have the double-digit win for UK, more faith than we did, and was rewarded with a KSR point.
1)UK +12

I was wondering if anybody would stick with Malik, who may end up our leading scorer before the season is complete. Kingcat kept the faith, and another bout of loyalty rewarded with a KSR point. (Monk led all scorers with 23).

Monk 22

3rd KSR point kinda missed the mark last night, but that's ok. UK's dynamic duo of Fox and Briscoe could have been Briscoe and Monk last night.

But Fox and Briscoe did well, too -- Briscoe with 21 and Fox with 12 managed a healthy 33 points.

On the other hand, Michigan State's dynamic duo was quite a thud, although none of the team members provided any pop, as not a single player scored in double figures.

Bridges was limited to 6 points (on 2-11 shooting), and McQuaid 3 (1-6) for a combined 9 points on 3-17 shooting. Wow.

Kentucky's dynamic duo outscored Michigan State's dynamic duo by 33-9, or 24 total points.

So the "answer" is MORE than the 5½, by 18½.

Let's see who is closest to MORE, by 18½.

Nobody was *that* close--nobody saw that one coming--but Thedonnie123 did a passable job, and the best of the bunch, with faith in UK's dynamic duo. The theme for last night's contest being faith and loyalty being rewarded, this continued the string as a KSR point given for his good pick.

Malik Monk had struggled a bit, but three KSRians believed he'd be the stress reliever for UK on 3-point shots last night, and they were right, as he was the *only* UK player with a made 3-pointer. One point each to

4. Monk

And for the 4th time in 5 games, we have an outright winner, with no need to go to the tape for a tiebreaker, as Kingcat rides the Monk train to a KSR Hall of Fame Induction!

Nicely done, Kingcat! Welcome to the club.
