That was accused of selling guns to the Libyan rebels when it was illegal for an American to do so? (http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2016/10/doj_drops_charges_against_arms_dealer_who_says_he_ can_implicate_clinton_in_scheme_to_arm_libyan_rebe ls.html)

I have no information about the merits of the DOJ case, nor the reasoning behind dropping the charges. However the conspiracy theorist in me does think that the information in the article does require the DOJ to explain it's actions to the American people.

Yeah, you just keep waiting for an explanation. I'll bring beer when you get thirsty.

LOL

They would probably put Comey in front of the cameras to explain. He is a very believable liar

What they did to arm Libyan rebels was really very similar to what Reagan did to arm the contras, and something the US has done repeatedly for decades.

The problem for Obama nad Clinton is that a) their party went ape-**** when Reagan did it, to the point of hearings and a big national broo-ha-ha, and b) their actions led directly to the fall of a regime that ended up being a disaster story for US foreign policy.

Had the move been a policy success they may not be nearly so worried about it being tied to them, but between that and the fact that it's a quasi-legal workaround for US and international laws, they want it gone.

My question is why they ever pursued it in the first place.

But if the DOJ were actually worried about enforcing the laws they woulnd't do these things at all, but they definitely dropped this case b/c it looks bad for them.

I imagine they thought that this guy didn't have the proof or moxy to tie Clinton and Obama to the mess, but I bet they now know he does have enough goods on them, and it doesn't look good for them.

Which is all of course beyond obvious. The level of corruption going on here is so clear it's an insult to our intelligence to have to even point it out.
