I still cannot think of that day, and not tear up.

God Bless America.

Currently watching "102 Minutes That Changed America: 15th Anniversary" on the History Channel.

Pretty much all footage, no narration by pro announcers for History... just directly from that time, video shot, pro and otherwise, but mostly amateur... from many visual perspectives... through many different people's eyes.

It's still a gripping, terrifying real drama. I still feel really angry, of course, but the fascination is different.

I get a mildly sick feeling in my stomach during parts of it now, but there is not the same kind of shock that accompanied the original live viewing (I woke up that day, went to the bathroom, was getting ready for work, when it all of a sudden came on "all" channels of the television I typically turned on in the morning).

It's still surreal and heart-wrenching to watch and my mouth gets dry as I sorta stare on at it, not like the outcome would be different, but more like wondering how I would feel to be there, on the ground, watching with the native New Yorkers who were stunned and staring up from the blocks nearby.

Dan I am afraid many have forgotten, nor were we reminded by our government
