Th video didn't load for some reason, but it's Obama saying that ordinary citizens were too small minded to govern their own affairs an that, progress can only come when individuals surrender their rights to an all powerful sovereign.

In a fundamental way I'm convinced Obama believes in that view, but he absolutely doesn't know he believes it.

He, like all ivory tower Leftists, thinks he's a voice for liberty and freedom, just so long as people choose to use that liberty to make the choices he thinks are best for them. When they don't then we have to pass some laws to make sure we get them down the right path.

In the end it is based on exactly the same assumptions, but they don't see it that way.

So he doesn't really want totalitarianism, he's just going to help get us there by not understanding the situation. I feel better, but not a lot. lol.

In a way, and not because I want it to happen, but because it needs to happen, I just wish the "storm" I and others here have alluded to just needs to go ahead and happen. And I think we're pretty close now.

Thanks, Dan. There are plenty of things to criticize about our current President without making things up, and that's exactly what that is when you take words not a little out of context, but entirety so. My father in law got tired of me sending links to Snopes and other truth fact checkers for all the emails he sent in a similar vein.
