Scroll down to read "Part Two", or watch the episode on line. My friend Brendan Steele, who called one day in 2010 while I was driving to my own "what's wrong with me, Doc?" appointment, to tell me he thought he had brain cancer. Whose wife drives us home when we have too many beers. Who got some "airman of the year" type award from the air national guard the night I got sworn in as Mayor in our "dual ceremony". Who survived to talk me thru my cancer, then survived his own thanks to, well, let's start with the groundbreaking research, the accidental stroke, the hail mary, all leading to a guy talkin and walkin who was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer in 2010.

Another cool article about cancer, where an immunoboosting drug has raised survival rates of advanced melanoma from ONE percent up to a whopping FORTY percent
