I still feel like these are a solution in search of a problem. I can see them being useful for commercial lighting scenarios and college students, but otherwise the price delta is just too much over regular bulbs. Dont get me wrong I absolutely LOVE regular LED bulbs (good LED bulbs beat the balls off of CFLs), but not at the prices they are charging for smart bulbs.

I agree, I keep looking at smart bulb and smart home options. I just can't justify any of it yet.

I'm happy with dumb lights, the kind you flip a switch and they come on. Anything beyond that, I don't really need.
