Thunder Over Louisville

Official kick off to the Derby festivities begins today with a decent air show followed by one of the largest firework displays in Northern America.

Anybody going? Or already there?

I've been spoiled over the years with my Dads condo at The Harbors overlooking the river right smack dab in the middle of the hoopla. Since he sold it I haven't found a way to equal the view, and comfort so I haven't been for a couple years

Just got back.
Took my family to my work's function today.
The view was awesome and I was so busy watching the fireworks with my great grandson I didn't take any photos.

IT was an awesome time, especially the day long air show...

They said it was the largest in North America. Awesome display and a top notch production

Watched from home this year. WDRB had the coverage and provided the best camera angles in years. Excellent production and the music score by the Louisville Orchestra was also great.
