Suncat we lost Teo good men this week

Domestic violence in a north Miss county last Saturday, after hours of negotiations that went nowhere the state narcotics swat team went in to the house. The bad guy...husband who had his wife and 12 yr old daughter as hostages....had a high powered rifle...that's what our media called instead of a hunting rifle.....and he killed one agent and shot 3 more.

While escorting the body back home another officer had a accident on his motorcycle as he pulled back on the hey and he was killed

Bad week for the good guys and by all accounts both men were very well liked and good officers

The job has gotten a lot more dangerous in the last several years or so. I honestly can't wait until I can retire. And unlike times past, when I have young possible recruits approach me about getting into this line of work, I try to steer them away from this occupation. No raises in the last eight years, bosses that play favorites and will not listen to the troops, think everything is a joke when it doesn't involve them, and if they do get involved they make the situation worse instead of better, and the never-ending political games that make things worse for everybody but them (the bosses), prosecutors that don't do what they're supposed to do, state legislators that write and pass assinne laws and then brag about it like they've done something worthwhile when in fact all they've done is coddle & enable the criminals............
