Play KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky vs. Tennessee @ Rupp Arena

1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory. If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

3. Over/Under: "27": UT's Kevin Punter led all scorers in the first UT game with 27 points. How much will he score in this game, over or under 27. Just answer "Over" (+) or "Under" (-) and by how many points.

4. The Big Payback: Name the UK player who will improve his statistics (combination of points, assists, rebounds, blocks, and steals in FIVE MINUTES MINIMUM PLAYING TIME) the most in THIS game vs. Tennessee, compared to his statistics in the PREVIOUS game in Knoxville vs. the Vols. Name the player AND how much they will improve their stats.

For example, Briscoe, against UT in Knoxville, got 10 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 0 blocks, and 0 steals for a TOTAL stat # of "21", thus if Isaiah were who you were to choose, you would state his name AND whatever you believe he would get OVER that 21. To make it easy on you players, here is a list of available Wildcats (assuming Poythress does NOT play, but if he DOES, he is still not an eligible choice, got it?) for THIS game AND what their TOTAL stat # was at UT (again, playing a minimum of five minutes in that game)...

--Willis had 16 total
--Ulis had 27 total
--Briscoe had 21 total
--Murray had 31 total
--Lee had 6 total
--Labissiere had 8 total
--Hawkins had 0 total

TB - UK's TOTAL 3-point FG % in the game.

Good Luck and GO BIG BLUE!!!

1. Cats win by 10 tonight, a deceptive margin given their dominance throughout most of the 40 minutes.

Closest, predicting a 13-point win and getting the first point, was "the man", Flounder, who is cold KILLIN' it this year, just like last, in the Game Contest.

Good job, Flounder!

2. Despite a career night for Derek Willis, with 25 big points, Jamal Murray, like a broken record it would seem, got 28 points, leading all players in scoring for the game with another brilliant performance.

Thedonnie predicted 26, but Doc predicted 30, thus both players were 2 points off the correct answer, thus "Doc and Thedonnie" perform another point-producing number, garnering a point each.

Good work fellas.

3. Over/Under: "27": Kevin Punter, who scored 27 in the first UK/UT game in Knoxville, seemed to be on a path to score WAY less, not even making double digits by the half. Predictably perhaps, he got back closer to his game average in the second half, finishing with 19 points, most of them too little, too late.

blueboss and Krank NAILED this one, both guessing the correct "Under, 8" since that was the difference between Punter's two games vs. UK. One point awarded to these two "gentlemen".

Good to see the bossman in contention tonight.

4. The Big Payback: "Name the UK player who will improve his statistics (combination of points, assists, rebounds, blocks, and steals in FIVE MINUTES MINIMUM PLAYING TIME) the most in THIS game vs. Tennessee, compared to his statistics in the PREVIOUS game in Knoxville vs. the Vols. Name the player AND how much they will improve their stats."

As stated in the original question, the following players were eligible to be selected for this point:

--Willis had 16 total
--Ulis had 27 total
--Briscoe had 21 total
--Murray had 31 total
--Lee had 6 total
--Labissiere had 8 total
--Hawkins had 0 total

Despite excellent games by both tonight, Ulis and Briscoe's overall numbers regressed a tad vs. UT tonight. Hawkins and Labissiere improved by 1 each. Lee improved by 2.

Not surprisingly to those who watched the game, the two players who improved their overall stats the most were Murray and Willis. Jamal was the ultimate stat-stuffer tonight, getting 1 steal, 1 block, 2 assists, 9 rebounds, and 28 points, improving his brilliant numbers at USC by a total of 10, finishing with a total stat line of 41.

BUT it was our good ol' Kentucky boy, D-ROCK Willis, improving the MOST tonight, finishing with 0 steals, 1 block, 0 assists, 5 rebounds and 25 big points, which adds up to a grand total stat line of 31, which is 15 more than his 16 at USC, thus the correct answer is "Willis, 15" or "+15".

The only KSR players who chose Derek tonight were Pappy, guessing "Willis, 6" and Thedonnie, guessing "Willis, 8", therefore Thedonnie was closest, garnering his second point of the night.

Good job, donnie!

Flounder, Doc, blueboss, and Krank all scored a point each, but it was Thedonnie who came closest to bowling the perfect frame, he being the only one to get two points, thus rendering a tiebreaker unnecessary.

Congrats to this evening's HOF Game Contest Winner, Thedonnie!
