I love stuff like this, and hope I'm not the only one.

Here's one I developed recently that I really like. I keep a case of water bottles in the back of my car, and a small (9 can size) hard case cooler. In the morning, I will customarily take a Publix or Walmart shopping bag, fill it maybe halfway full of ice cubes--probably not even halfway--and then dump them in the ice chest with 4-6 water bottles. Keeps them cold all day. If I'm anywhere and I'm thirsty, I grab a cold bottle of water, without having to stop at the gas station (or pay $1.50 for a bottle). I buy a case for about $4, or about $0.15 each.

That's life hack # 1.

Life hack # 2 is an offshoot of this. When I drink a bottle of water, I will sometimes "save" the empty water bottle, fill it up with tap water, and put it in my freezer. The next morning, rather than putting ice cubes in the ice chest again, I'll just throw the frozen water bottle in the bottom of the ice chest, leaving a small amount of the melted ice water from the day before. Keeps all of the bottles nice and cold.

Any life hacks you'd like to share?
