I walk out the front door to get to my car to go to work. Behind me I hear two women's voices calling out to me, "Hey Deputy! Hey Deputy!", so I turn around to see who is calling to me. I see a boat in the canal coming from the lake side moving over to the Caloosahatchie River, and I see two young women in this boat..........topless! "Have a nice day!" one of them said.
Thank you, ladies! I shall!
I see this kind of thing occasionally. That's why I love my job and where I live. Life is good!

And here I thought you were going to tell us about shooting a coyote. :)

What a coincidence! That's the same way CitizenBBN starts his day. Except his day starts at "Cowboys."

Certainly the opposite of my week. I had a real ####ed up one. Two of my favorite clients/patients had to be euthanized this week. One the dog of an ex MLB pitcher I've know for years. Has a wonderful wife and a newborn. Taken care of the dog for 12 years, thru thick and thin. Came in with a 6 week cough. Cancer in his chest involving 90% of his chest. Cried when I told the owner

Next day was a dog I neutered on Jan 15 of 2001. He has seen specialist allover the nation but I was his primary vet. Woody was a diabetic with recurrent pancreatitis, has cataracts with both lenses removed and his corneas replaced. Owner flies him wherever on a private jet and the dog was a nasty turd to everybody but me and his owners. But I really like him a lot despite the fact as we had an agreement that he didn't bite me and I wouldn't bite him! About 2 weeks ago he started urinating blood due to prostatic cancer so I ended up euthanizing him on Tuesday.

Then to finish my week, on Wednesday I had to euthanize one for an 85 year old widow. Went to here house for the 3rd time and she just cried since its now just here. Been treating her and her deceased husbands pets for 20 years. Sometimes life really sucks!

If that happened here on the Ohio River it would have been a bad start to your day😄

Yeah, Doc. I know there will be something happen with one or both of ours some day too, just hope it's nothing like you've described here. Or worse. My main concern with both of them is snake bites, there's cottonmouths and rattlesnakes everywhere down here.
Yeah, buddy, what you described definitely qualifies for a crummy week.

Completely untrue. It ends there a lot, but they don't open early enough.

So I start at platinum plus.

We once had a Fashion Bug Plus here in Radcliff. Is that similar?

Suncat, that reminds me of what happened to us when I worked in Louisville. Once each summer one of the managers would get his houseboat and take all of the supervisors from the Accounting Dept. on a cruise up to 6 mile island. Always was the obligatory detour up Harrods Creek past Bus Parson's One year when the guys at Bus' started yelling at the women on the boat, two of the accounting supervisors, late 50ish, obliged and pulled off the tops. The guys went nuts. Hell most of them were in their 50s and 60s. And, my buddies and me, the young junior accountants, couldn't believe what we saw. It sure was a great introduction to work life from school. Work just isn't that much fun anymore. Too much political correctness.
