Thanks, suncat. She was a pleasure to shoot. She ran track for NC State, hurdles I think, and her body was in fantastic shape. Great eyes and lips, though had suffered from acne, I assume, as a teen, so I had some post work to do. We shot at her house which she shared with her boyfriend who made himself scarce for the most part in other rooms.

A guy from India contacted me who does photo shop stuff as a hobby and offered to work on some of my stuff. I'll bring some of it here when I get them back.

Bad, I had a post on another thread that I thought might interest you and a few others that seem to have talent/eye for photos. If you have time check it out..

For you shutterbugs out there I watched a documentary on PBS about AP photographer Rowland Scherman who's resume includes shots from the 60's of the March On Washington, Woodstock, and countless musicians Bob Dylan, Beatles, Joni Mitchell, and many more. He was also allowed in the inner circle of the Kennedy's from JFK to Bobby's campaign, and personal life, they became very close friends, and Bobby gave him free reign.

He delivered a comment to all photographers addressing going somewhere without your camera, he said "I've got two words for you...flying saucers"

As I stated it was on PBS and the DVD is available through their website, I found it very entertaining as well as motivational and as I'm just a casual clicker I highly recommend it.

Oh by the way, nice work CG ( and Badrose), oh and Darrell with his alien/ghosts shots from his backyard

It would be nice to be able to always have a camera around but, for me, it's just not practical. At any given time just my camera and lens alone would cost around $3000 to replace not to mention having to carry the bulk. Theft and damage are always possibilities, but I could see getting a nice P&S, however I'd rather put that $$$ toward another lens for doing things that are planned.

The model used 4 (primarily 3) different wardrobe changes during the shoot. It was late June, hot, and humid. The shoot began,IIRC, around 7:30PM. I used a 100mm 2.8 prime lens. The natural light was great and I got several good shots that evening.

Nice shots! I bit the BIG bullet yesterday and completed my lens portfolio :) Purchased the Tamron 150-600, and recently picked up the Sigma 35mm 1.4

Leaving for Reno today to see some snow and mountains then back over to Tahoe for a day on the way back. If I could figure out the right size of pic on this board I'd post some. :)

You can tell you live in a area not accustomed to snow, in regions that do get snow they are generally referred to as snow plows....:party0035:

CG, right click on the image and choose copy image location. Then click the image icon at the top of your reply screen and paste it there. Then uncheck the image remote file option and hit 'OK".. Size shouldn't matter.

Stand By Me was filmed out west. Banshee is filmed in the greater Charlotte area. This scene in particular was filmed near Lincolnton, NC.
