I went to South Louisiana on a fishing trip from Thurs thru Sunday, fishing was tough but did bring back some redfish and speckled trout.
We had boiled shrimp on Fri fresh out of the marsh, 21-25 count, brown shrimp, $4.50 a pound. So we go before we leave yesterday to load up and bring back, I was going to buy 40#, the guy was out. And so were several other spots we tried on the way back.
I was so looking forward to fresh shrimp scampi last night.
But will have redfish and crabmeat tonight.
Next time, I am not waiting.
