Fox news poll about states seceding from the USA included a question that if those responding to the poll could kick a state out of the Union, which one or ones would they vote to boot. This was a nationwide poll.

Which 4 states topped the poll?

Florida? What the heck? But I can tell you why.........it's because of all of these migrating damn Yankees from such wonderful places like New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut, New Hampshire.........and it's that time of the year again down here too......we're seeing the annual surge of all these stinkin' "snow buzzards" once again.........

Florida & Texas surprised me. California was no surprise at all. I have advocated putting a prison type fence all the way up the eastern side of California to include Oregon & Washington to the Canadian border. New York wasn't a surprise either.

I've not looked at the results but my guesses would be CA, NY, IL and MI

Doc, you got two of them right. I made the same guesses as well. The other two may surprise you.

IMO we need to not think of states. Just get rid of San Francisco and New York and the entire political landscape of this nation changes.

When you do the math on those two states, who anchor the blue liberals, it really comes down to those two cities. New York state and Cali outside of the bay area are no different from most of the rest of the nation. Those two cities swing those two states, without them the left would have no chance at the Presidency or the House, and very little at the Senate. WE'd still have Democrats and Republicans, but the real leftism would be gone. We'd be back to debating democratic capitalism, not socialism.

I looked after I guessed. IMO Michigan is a state I included due to the drain the is detroit. As for Illinois, one of the most corrupt states in the nation. Florida surprised me. What, doesn't the nation like Jews and old people from Nah Yawk who tell you how good it is in Naw Yawk?
