Why is it that our QB's always get hurt by South Carolina? Just makes me dislike Spurrier even more.

Interesting scenarios popping up now. Towles will play it seems, Max may possibly be granted a RS and Towles, Whitlow and Smith could all possibly be in the same class now.

In the midst of all this is a lame duck staff with little incentive. That UK football.

I was at the game and haven't seen any replays of the hit but from where I sit it looked like the defender went for the leg. Is that what happened or was it just my viewpoint?

He was falling, but it did look as if he was going for the leg; however, the injury occurred because Max jumps and landed at the same time he was being hit. In the NFL, it may have been an illegal hit on a QB, but it did not look malicious.

I was watching on tv and all I saw was just a good, solid hit. A 330# hit, but nothing malicious.

I'm just saying......... the hit Hartline took a couple of years back wasn't malicious, but the refs screwed up and let the SC defender hit him after the whistle was blown, and then did not penalize USC for the hit.

This hit on Max Smith sure looked to be to be a deliberate hit to the lower leg area.

God I HATE Spurrier!

We need to protect our QB better. It's been an issue for 3 years now. Just football as I saw it from my vantage point.
