They have no idea what to do. Funny, but some of the families seemed to know they were there

Wow, so they basically built that part of the campus, the med center, on a hill that was largely a cemetery from the 1850s through to the 1930s. if it had an asylum there for 80 years goodness knows how many are buried there. I'd say it's very likely that if those graves were in any way marked when the Siege of Jackson took place that both sides at different times probably buried their dead there too. 1,000 probably won't touch it if they survey the rest of the acreage. Asylums of that era are where they sent people to die, as seen in the reference to the TB victims. If it kept up to 2,000 people there at a time it wouldn't be unusual at all for them to bury 100 people a year, probably a good deal more.

Can't say I understand why they'd be too surprised, sounds like every time the put in a sprinkler they hit a casket. Creepy as heck.

I have seen a couple of other reports that they hired a firm with ground penetrating radar and the firm identified over 2,000 graves. It reminds me of the Native American burial ground under the playing field at Commonwealth

Dan are you saying that Marshal Henderson is part of some curse? :evilgrin0007:

I bet it is over 2,000. A hill where they sent the mentally and terminally ill for 70+ years? It's going to be a large number.
