Any recommendations for a good refurb laptop? Preferably under $300?

Oldest daughter wants one.

Middle daughter and my oldest son both got an Acer that I really like, but it is no longer available. Think it was around $260 and looks great, runs great, etc., but whereever they got it, it is no longer available.

I probably will be looking for one myself after Christmas, but I'll take a look at what the sales are. Also-would it be better if my daughter waited another week or so after Christmas to look for her laptop?
