And that's just federal regs. I'm working through some crap with Frankfort right now on a LLC. It's many times that number the amount of time spent dealing with all the state laws, and that figure is just the added regs from Obama and none of that includes the biggest cost of all: tax compliance. It's massive the drain the government places on business, esp. small business.

The Congress handed the bureaucracy their power to make law, which is wrong and will be one of the cornerstones of the end of us. They write some broad law and then tell the bureaucrats to promulgate the detailed regs to meet it. They are barely answerable to anyone, self sustaining, and constantly growing.
