This won't "count," or be listed in the 2013-14 version of the KSR Game Contest Hall of Fame. But the game is televised, and stats will be kept, so might as well get warmed up with it.

1. Predict the Kentucky (BLUE OR WHITE, for tonight) margin of victory. If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not
have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point (obviously, for tonight, it DOES have to be a Kentucky player.)

3. Freshman Phenom - for tonight, predict the Kentucky freshman who will have the highest "PAR" (points + assists + rebounds) and how many he will have.

TB: Total fouls, both teams combined.

Good luck!

Without knowing who is on what roster, I'll say.....

1. WHITE + 18

2. Andrew Harrison in a surprise, 24 points.

3. Andrew Harrison, 33 (probably 24 + 5 + 4)

TB: 55

I am going with Blue wins by 23

Randle with 39 pts

Randle with 39 pts 16 rbs 5 assists (fear passing will be a little weak tonight).

I forgot to put the total margin of victory--glad this is "warm up," as I'm rusty :).

Also--just so it is clear--we will add up ALL the points a player scores, no matter if he is switched from one team to the other. Points, assists, rebounds for both teams count.

Nailed it--Blue by 24, so first KSR point for UKHistory!

2. James Young, 27

Boom--Young with 25, nice pick for KSR point # 2.

No winner for KSR point # 3 as Young had 25 + 3 + 3 for 31, nipping Randle (30), 21 + 8 + 1 and Willis (29) 21 + 8.

Well, even though UKHistory failed to make a pick on the tiebreaker, I'm going to use executive discretion, and declare him the winner over UKFlounder. I'm saying that the lack of making a pick on total fouls = 0 fouls, and with UK limiting themselves to 10 fouls per team, or 20 fouls total, he only "missed" by 20.

UKFlounder's pick of 50 (much more in line with what I anticipated, although my picks were horrific) missed the 20 number by 30--so I'm saying he's runner-up on this warm-up version.

Hey, UKHistory doesn't go in the KSR Hall of Fame 2013-14 with this one but he does get some bragging rights before the season begins. Nicely done, even winning a tiebreaker by failing to make a pick! That's an all-time first.

Not following directions or completing an assignment has always been the key to my success.

Just don't try.
