I still use a Sony camcorder I purchased November 14, 2006, and it works very well, although it is non-HD. I also obtained this wireless microphone at the same time.
My idea was to sit in the back of auditoriums, as I do several times a year, and record a play, but have the wireless microphone about 100 feet from me on or near the stage.
After 7 years...I found the microphone. Never used it during all that time. How embarrassing is that?
I know you can buy this one a lot cheaper. The reviews have it 4.3/5.0, but a lot of the reviews that say it doesn't work with their camcorder have the newer camcorders, so I think those 1* reviews should be taken out. Most of us "old fogies (fogeys?)" with outdated equipment apparently love it.
I hope I don't lose it before the next play.
