It would be better if it was just a capacitative display that piped information from your smartphone, IMO. As a stand-alone device, it's a bit too bulky, a bit too power hungry, and a bit too expensive. I also think that, while the miniaturization of smartphone-like technology is coming, it will be more in the Google Glass direction than the Galaxy Gear. But maybe this tech will better once it matures over the next few years.

I have tried to want to like it, but I just can't get there. Not sure what it needs to do different, but this just doesn't get me.
