Okay, going to try this again, although every time I do this Kentucky seems to get thumped. But I still have faith and believe, so here goes.......
GO BIG BLUE!!

Really NOT liking the way Max is throwning the ball so far today. Seems to be just a bit off. :mad0176:

A couple of easy passes have been dropped too. Calm down cats!

Oh of course! Both DB's out of position and one actually looking the other way with no other Louisville players around him, easy TD for Louisville. Damn!

The offense has to get its head out of its collective rectal orifices and start making some plays, help keep the "D" off the field for a little bit. The "O's" ineptitude so far is really disheartening.

Oh Judas H. Priest! We get a break with a penalty and then these guys fumble the stinkin' ball! C'MON YOU GUYS! :sAng_banghead2:

LOL, suncat I think you are the only person watching the game able to hold a meaningful discussion about the game. I am freaked out.

I am loving the effort on "D", not at all happy with the "O" right now. Was expecting it to be exactly the opposite.

Kinda surprised that you & I are the only ones talking here, I thought there'd be more of our people here.

Yeah, me too. I guess there could be a premium forum on the game. To rich for my blood. ;-)

I thought that Max looked good in general in the first half. A couple of technique mistakes by skill players kept us from getting momentum.

Well, looks like the "D" is already tired. U of L scores a TD.

Louisville 17
Kentucky 3

Still early in the 3rd qtr.

The D has carried us. They look a bit tired though, especially the line.

Well, looks like Whitlow just isn't going to be of much help today, keeps turning the ball over. Now he throws a pick. :banghead:

Our offense has just been spotty, at best, today. Fumbles, picks, dropped passes, balls thrown short. Seems like the "D" is the only ones who showed up to play up to this point.

Tag on 3 more points for U of L.

Louisville 20
Kentucky 3

If we do not score on this next offensive possession, just go ahead and stick a fork in us, coz we'll be done.

Naturally.......Badet drops a sure TD in the end zone. Mansour kicks a FG, which doesn't help us for squat.

The "O" is pitiful today. TOO MANY MISTAKES against a good Louisville team. Eliminate these stupid mistakes and we might even have the lead. GEEZ!

Well, the D looks gassed. Good effort in the first half.

No passes to any of the TE's today. I wonder why?
Oh, great, U of L just scored on a 26 yard run.

Louisville 27
Kentucky 6

They score TD's pretty much at will now, we counter with FG's. Thanks, Joker & Mitch!

We have one good play, and then several stinkers. Kinda look like last year, and the year before too.

Again, thanks to Joker & Mitch!!

Whitlow looked shaky at times but that drive was ok.

Cats had a chance. No moral victory, but something to build on. This is not Joker's team anymore.

Final Score:

Louisville 27
Kentucky 13

Our offense was pretty 'offensive' today, but given the results of the last 2 years, nothing new. The "D" held its own, as much as they could because of the "O's" ineptitude. Thanks, Joker & Mitch!
On the bright side, I did like the "black-n-blue" uniforms for the game, hope we see some more of that combination.

May not be Joker's team anymore, but we're still getting Joker-esque results. But, there is plenty to build off of that I saw, and I am sure we will get better as the season rolls on. Minus all the stupid mistakes, we might have actually won this game.

I disagree.

56% of us predicted a blowout of more than two touchdowns, with many suggesting a 30- or 40-or more point defeat. Saw one predict a 7-touchdown loss, and called it, "conservative." Those are Joker numbers.

Toe to toe with #7 team in country, but lost turnover margin, 3-1. Win that 3-1,and UK wins the game. That's not where we were with Joker.

A buddy of mine who was raised in Louisville and went to UK, so he follows both teams, said this UK team reminds him of Charlie Strong's first team. They may not be very good, but in his words, "coaching is not a problem". He expects things to get a lot better fast once Stoops gets his own guys in.

I am inclined to agree with him based on what we saw. We're not a good football team. But future years look like they just might be.
