Another team killed a record gator this weekend a d it wast the Miami Hurricanes :). Like the other big ones this was killed off the Miss River. 16'5" long, 741.5#.

I'm thinking when they've managed to grow that big they need to be left alone to continue to grow older. What's the life expectancy of a gator in the wild?

I hope those guys are all 3 foot tall. WOW. That thing is crazy huge.

I think around 50 yrs
I'm thinking when they've managed to grow that big they need to be left alone to continue to grow older. What's the life expectancy of a gator in the wild?

How old do you suppose those monsters in the photo's are? 40ish? I hope they're not only 25 ish years old, that would mean they could dbl in size to 30+ft. So really the record will peak out sooner or later?
