I wouldn't be surprised. They failed to mention Trayvon was stopped at school with a burglary tool and about a dozen pieces of female jewelry prior to that night. That's no rumor, an open records request found the record from the school police reports. He would have been arrested but the school was purposefully not arresting people so they could claim the arrest rate was down for PR purposes for the school district.

This script has been largely fabricated from the outset. It's a shame someone died, but the painting of Martin as a "well mannered" kid who could have been Obama is a beautiful but very misleading story. He was in fact a wannabe punk with suspensions and had been sent to live elsewhere due to some of the troubles, who arguably should have already been arrested for suspicion of burglary. I'm not saying Zimmerman was perfect or anything either, neither tale of perfection is true, but this was not the "sweet black kid gunned down by the white supremacist" tale being told and even now furthered by the White House.
