Regardless of which side of the fence you take in this ongoing debate, it is my opinion that the information provided at the 2 following links is well worth your time to read and take into consideration. The linked texts are transcripts from scientists testifying during Senate hearings on global warming and man's affect on the warming.

Dan that data is by far the best i've seen on the subject. Using the temperature of constantly moving satellites is brilliant b/c you can cancel out the massive set of unique variables of picking given positions on the planet or given time periods to test. There's so much noise in the data at the "it's warmer in Lexington than last year" level that the data is useless.

Have just started reading it, but thanks for posting. People just do not appreciate how little real science there is behind the global warming zealotry, and don't appreciate how the scientific community works.

For example it is now "fact" that meteor impacts caused this planet's mass extinctions like the dinosaurs. 30 years ago when a few scientists were proposing that view they were viciously ridiculed and dismissed, their data shunned, and generally treated like the Pope with Galileo. Think of the scene in the movie Stargate when the professor tries to argue for a much older date on the pyramids and that they weren't built by Ramses II etc. and the whole room laughs and walks out. THAT is what we're seeing right now in global warming. Scientists for all their objective work are within their own community often very poor at using the scientific method.

According to the brilliant Harry Reid, all the fires in Nevada are the result of global warming

That is a waste of perfectly good oxygen. He is not really that stupid, just like Al Gore is not that stupid. Harry just wants to get his hands on some more free money

Gore made unknown millions off global warming, Reid is gonna want this fad to ride out long enough for him to get his own piece of the pie.
