Burgers, dogs, wings, watermelon, fresh fruit and apple pie and ice cream here.

I just asked whether I was grilling or not, and was told my son was cooking some sort of crockpot chicken thing with cream of mushroom soup and wine.

When I pointed out it was after 1 and nothing had been done already for dinner, I was told, "I guess you're grilling." So probably burgers and dogs here. There's a watermelon sitting on the counter that looks like it has today written all over it, too.

Well, since we are dealing with the monsoon rains here in Louisville, I'm thinking going out to a restaurant is in order.

It is bizarre, but monsoon rains are to the north and south of us, but we're dry. It's a small window and the radar looks pretty good.

Rain is all just east of us, blue skies here. Iced drinks down at noon, sorry guys no beer :). Small bottle cokes, water, and can orange crush

My two granddaughters and I ate pop cycles today. I love grand kids.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, baked beans and potato salad. Stuffed. We ate early. Watermelon later.

There is no way to start a grill today here, due to the rain. Just pizza for us.

I did not know it was possible to have a cook out in Mississippi without beer being involved. Learn something every day

It was a wash out in Lex, but the pavillion on Cheapside and RJ Corman saved the day.

It was a washout for sure. Hate it, I always look forward to the fourth downtown but it never let up this year.

Its pouring now. Feringinar gets less rain.

I feel like its been raining for half my life. I keep waiting for an ark full of animals to float by.

I follow one of our local weathermen on twitter on my personal twitter account. He had a very succinct twitter forecast this morning.

Genesis 7:17.

(Some version of, "For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth.")
