It's one of my all-time favorite shows and the last season starts Sunday night. The concept of a serial killer whose only targets are themselves killers was a great concept. The main character is very likable and you get voice-over thoughts as he goes about his business, often very humorous, and you buy in that his victims get what they deserve. It's very easy to become sympathetic because of how he became the way he is due to his witnessing his mother's gruesome murder at a very young age.

The journey from the beginning becomes more complex as he is forced to confront who he is and the methods he uses have to adapt from situation to situation until innocent people get drawn in because of his need to kill...very difficult to rationalize.

I hate to see it all end and apparently Dexter will not be rehabilitated based on interviews and blips in the media.

Any other fans out there?

I need to sit down and watch this from series 1 season 1. I caught a couple seasons in the middle and loved it! Just never signed up for showtime to watch it all. Plan on d/l from somewhere to watch it

Love the show. Feel like it has run its course. Do not find his sister hot at all. By the way, she is his real life wife.

I think they split up a year or two ago.

When you get in your 60's ET your standards go way down.:4chsmu1:

For some of us they were never that high to begin with. :)

Lowering standards is one thing. Broadening your scope is another.

Decent show the few times I've had a chance to watch it; though I still see Michael C. Hall as David Fisher.

Watched SFU for a while but it became one of the few premium channel series I'd lost interest in. Got a little too far from the main SL imo.

If I didn't have low standards, I wouldn't have any standards at all.
